I received a new ID-card but it does not work with the printer even though I could use the service with the old card - what to do?
There are two ways to associate the new card with your personal printing account:
- perform a new e-payment and your printing account will be renewed automatically
- you may renew the account at the Copy Centre (or at the Raja 15 - 214) with the aid of the personnel. Look here for more information (section "Cash").
I have an ID-card, but I do not wish to use it for some reason.
If you have a valid ID-card then it will be automatically associated with your printing account on buying an ID-ticket. It is additionally possible to associate some other suitable magnetic card (for example: ISIC) with the account in addition to the ID-card at the Copy Centre (additionally at the Raja 15 - 214). After this either of the cards can be used. But you can't print from public computers if you using magnetic card!
I entered the card in the reader but nothing happens - what to do?
There may be different reasons. The main reasons are:
- the previous reading has locked the machine – there is a 10-second pause after locking when the machine will not receive a card! Try again.
- check whether you have enough money on your printing account – from a computer or at the Copy Centre (additionally at the Information Centre and Raja 15 - 214) or using special webpage, you find link on screen of public computers
- your magnetic card is damaged or your ID-card is broken
- if a red light is flashing on the ID-card reader, then the card is not placed correctly - check the guide at the machine
